Don Spann (M.S., Jackson State University) is an Assistant Professor of Media Production in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies. His research interests include human trafficking, health equity, and weather preparedness for vulnerable populations. He teaches a variety of courses within the department, which include; Intro to Media Production, Advanced Media Production, Digital Editing, Photojournalism, Media Programming, Practicum, and Internship.
